General Manager Trucking

Long Beach CA

Base Pay: $90- $100k/Year
Industry: Transportation, Freight Forwarding, Distribution - Shipping
Experience: More than 10 Years

Duties will include:

• Responsible for all trucking operations
• Overseeing a staff of 5 Administrative and Dispatch employees
• P/L responsibilities
• Developing new business which may involve some travel
• Managing contracted drivers

Requirements:

• 10+ year’s exp in trucking operations / management
• Knowledge of local trucking market as well as OTR (over the road)
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Harbor –Drayage experience
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) desirable but not required
