Import Manager / Licensed Customs Broker

Renowned global logistics company, has a position available for a qualified import person in our Customs Brokerage Department.
With locations in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America, services include vendor consolidation, air and ocean freight forwarding, customs brokerage, ocean consolidation, distribution and value-added services.
Job Description:
- Supervision and direction of the Import Department
- Coordinate all activities regarding all import shipments, with the airlines, steamship companies, NVOCC carriers, US Customs, truckers
- Clearing inbound cargo through the customs clearance process
- Coordinate activities with overseas offices
- U.S. Customs Brokers License
Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Solid PC Skills, Good knowledge of all filing requirements
- Must hold a CUSTOMS BROKERS LICENSE
- Knowledge of C-TPAT documentation and reporting requirement
- Be proactive in dealing with high profile clients.
- Knowledge of various government regulations (USDA, FDA)
Compensation: $ depends on Experience + excellent benefits
