Accounting Specialist
San Fernando Valley (Los Angeles CA area)
Ideal candidates have worked for a freight/cargo company – Logistics operations experience a huge plus!
Responsibilities will include:
- Inputting, batching, and coding invoices.
- Distributing invoices for internal approval and tracking status to ensure timely payment.
- Investigating and resolving vendor inquiries and/or discrepancies.
- Ensuring proper and accurate processing of daily and weekly check runs.
- Handle payables and receivables.
- Preparing daily cash activity report.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years Accounting experience in AP/AR preferably with a Transportation / Freight company.
- Magaya, QuickBooks Pro software experience
- Solid PC Skills, MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Compensation: Salary depends on experience. We are looking to fill this position ASAP
