Purpose of Job:

Under limited supervision, perform functional business process analysis, requirements analysis, document and design business solutions, software testing, and end-user training activities for Pasha’s business applications.

Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:

  • Independently develop business requirements and critical success criteria for IT solutions.
  • Develop and execute detailed task plans for development of business requirements, software testing, training, user manuals and system tutorials.
  • Establish and maintain clear communications on status, issues, and progress with business sponsors and IT management.
  • Perform analysis for risk management from a business perspective as it relates to delivery of IT solutions.
  • Analyze and document complex business requirements and associated business impacts and success criteria
  • Coordinate communications between application development teams and other organizations in regards to requirements, testing, training, and overall project status.
  • Develop, document, and monitor IT service level agreements and metrics
  • Create and maintain documentation for related to business analysis activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: At least 2 years previous work experience in business analysis or development roles related to information technology solutions. Prior experience in a domestic or international supply chain logistics or a transportation environment is preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technical personnel.
  • Strong business analysis techniques and methodologies: Requirements analysis and documentation, problem solving, process modeling, data modeling
  • Ability to accurately identify user requirements and clearly translate complex business problems into systems designs.
  • Detail oriented with the capacity to take a wider view of the business.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team, or independently.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project and Visio.
  • Strong technical awareness
  • General knowledge of IT platforms, programming environments, and databases.
  • Experience of Software Quality Assurance techniques
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task

Physical Demands:

  • This work is largely sedentary.
  • Moderate travel may be required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
