Company Profile:
Full service International Freight Forwarding / Customs Brokerage, providing and Logistics Services for all phases of international and Domestic transportation.
Responsibilities:
The Branch Manager will be responsible for directing the overall operations, and administration, as well as be the permit holder (Brokers License) for the office.
Job Description:
- Direct customs brokerage, freight forwarding, operations.
- Work with customers and representatives of transportation companies to evaluate services.
- Develop and implement plans for excellent customer service and productivity of all employees, and branch operation budget
- Review costs, productivity, and implement / modify programs as needed to enhance profitable operations.
- Review operations of competing organizations, plan and direct sales program to maintain and develop new markets
- Oversee implementation of programs and company established targets
Qualifications:
- 5 to 8 years management experience in the logistics industry.
- Licensed Customs Broker
- Must have international, multi-modal freight forwarding experience
- Prefer brokerage management, and TPL knowledge
- Good communications skills.
- Effective sales and presentation skills.
- Experience in budget planning, establishing and writing business proposals.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
